The Resident Services of the Bradenton Housing Authority (HACB) takes a holistic
approach to meeting the needs of families in its subsidized properties and the surrounding community by
incorporating a broad range of supportive and economic development services. The Resident Services Program performs a
multitude of functions and administers programs that are designed to enhance quality of life,
self-sufficiency, and stabilization of families.
The Resident Services linked its supportive service programs to the physical revitalization of the Bradenton
Village and Zoller communities. This supportive service program is designed to maximize opportunities to
prepare residents to obtain employment, to build a community environment that fosters healthy families,
to assist families in reaching self-sufficiency, and to support initiatives that ensure viable
communities.
The Resident Services will help low-income families improve the quality of their lives and move toward
self-sufficiency. The Resident Services Program offers appropriate services toward these ends to families in all of
its subsidized propertiesand Housing Choice Voucher residents.
The HACB has a high percentage or elderly or disabled residents. The Resident Services
staff places a high priority on services for seniors that also include programs and services for
improving quality of life in addition to services specifically for seniors.
